No e-mail to VPS
Hey guys,
I am having some difficulty receiving e-mails to accounts on my VPS. Running the latest cPanel and Cloud Linux on the VPS. I am running the usual CSF firewall, I am not sure if that is causing any issues.
I am not receiving any e-mails to any of my domains on the VPS. I have done the following:
- Checked EXIM configuration
- Checked NS records
- Checked NS configuration
- Checked the domains DNS configuration
- Rebooted the VPS
Unsure what else I should be looking for. Mail logs are not producing much either.
Domain is domain.tld with ns records of n5, ns6, ns7 and ns8.123dns.tld.
Any assistance or information would be great.
Thanks,
Cohen

Hi, I think mails ports are not open in csf firewall and due to that you are facing such issue. Can you please check the below ports are added in csf conf file 25 110 465 587 995 0 -
One thing I didn't check. I have added in the missing ports (25 was missing). It was working previously, so unsure why it has stopped....... Lets see how it goes now........ 0 -
Hello :) I look forward to seeing the outcome after you have allowed traffic over port 25. Also, if the issue persists, could you let us know of any specific output to /var/log/exim_mainlog or /var/log/exim_paniclog that shows up during email delivery attempts? Than you. 0 -
Hey guys, it appears the ports were not allowed on the firewall. I have no idea why they were not allowed and how they were removed. All is working now. Thanks heaps! 0 -
Good to see all is working now. Normally Email ports are by default open on CSF, might be someone had made some changes. 0 -
I'm happy to see you were able to address the issue. Thank you for updating us with the outcome. 0
