How to completely remove cPanel logos + icons
Hello,
I have been reading a lot of the documentation, but still have difficulties to understand correctly how to customize cPanel to match with our brand.
I was able to customize a few items by creating a new style for login-page and changed the logo in the Branding-Editor for paper-lantern. But I still need to change more items and cannot find the details about how to do it.
The following items need to be replaced with our own designs ->
1. login-page: small cPanel logo on the bottom-left
- Removed -
2. client-dashboard: cPanel logo bottom-left and footer-links on the bottom-right
- Removed -
3. file-manager: small cPanel icon on the top-left
- Removed -
4. webmail: big logo-icon and small footer icon
- Removed -
So what are the options I have to change the items and keep them active even when updating cPanel to newer versions? Duplicate paper-lantern first and then add it as a new theme?
By the way, if there is any developer or service around who is customising and selling cPanel-themes, I would be happy to hear about. All offerings I've found on the net when searching cpanel-themes were looking very outdated. Others like RVSkins look very complicated to me.
Thank you for spending time reading my posting and have a perfect day :)
Kind regards,
Sascha

Hello, Please verify if you followed this document when modifying the login page: How to Create Custom-Branded Login Pages - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation As far as the custom theme, could you verify if duplicating the theme, replacing the images with your own, and updating cPanel retains your custom changes? Thank you. 0 -
Hi, thank you for prompt reply and sorry for the delay. It is helpful to read the documentation provided, but still have a few problems: Modify other login page images I have replaced "images/cpanel-logo-tiny.png" with a custom logo, but it is not shown on cube4.example.net:2083 What is the problem? 0 -

How many pixels is the custom logo? Also, ensure you follow the instructions at: Guide to cPanel Interface Customization - Custom Icons and Logos - Software Development Kit - cPanel Documentation Thank you.0 -
Hello, thank you for the link! In the meantime we have completely removed the footer-logo and copyright information, but I'd interested to know, if the logos - as explained in the article which you have provided - can be completely customized within Paper Lantern or if we have to duplicate paper lantern first? Thank you 0 -
The best approach is to use the default Paper Lantern theme with your own custom style, per the document listed in my last response. Thank you. 0
