DNS Cluster Question
We are looking for a fault tolerance solution. So for example, we have a master server and a slave one. The slave server copies everything in real time from the master server. Whenever the master server goes down, Cluster is redirected to the slave server and it will act as the main server until the other server gets fixed.

is it possible to do this with Cpanel cluster, and if, how to configure...
thnx

We have done something very similar to this however the best way we found was to simply list all of the slave servers as the primary nameservers, for example: Master01.domain.com Master02.domain.com These masters are set to cluster with the following (NOT each other) Slave01.domain.com Slave02.domain.com Slave03.domain.com Slave04.domain.com I did a lot of research into this and after speaking with cPanel support this is what was recommended.0 -
Hello, Could you verify if this is for DNS purposes only? If so, the previous response should help. Thank you. 0
