How - when a domain r.com is hosted - point another y.com domain to same hosted files?

  Make sure y.com is using r.com's nameservers, then go to your cPanel, Domains section, Aliases. From there, you'd add y.com. More Info here: Domain aliases make your website available from another domain name. For example, you can make example.net and example.org show content from example.com.   domain y.com(main domain, ns1.y.com) that has alias the r.com,... then r.com must configured DNS to ns1.y.com????

  Yes. Both domains should be using the same nameservers.
