Minecraft
I've been thinking about creating a folder using SFTP under the main directory and install minecraft on it! Let's say /Minecraft - Any ideas how to install Minecraft on said folder? I am guessing I just transfer minecraft files to it and launch using the command line! How do I do that? I also want to create a user name and a password for a user with privileges to "ONLY" access that specific folder: /Minecraft
Any help would be very much appreciated,
Thanks Michael :-)

You might want to do a bit more reading on this idea first: minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server 0 -
Hello Michael, The article Infopro linked you to makes it very simple to setup a Minecraft server. The minecraft server software is simply a jar. You'll need to provide an init script, capture logging, and do other things to get your minecraft server operating properly. I recommend you investigate one of the all-in-one installers listed at the bottom of the article. They make it very simple to get new minecraft servers up and running. 0 -
