Temporary URL before publishing site?

(sorry for bad english) Hi, I'm receive an account to setup a website, but is my first time in cpanel. How do I see temporary site before publish them? I put files on ftp but don't see them in browser. I try: IP/~login/ IP/~ftpaccount/ Try too create an alias but, in my plan, i having nothing. sds

  Ok, thanks, but I've tried too and not work, administrator of server say to update a windows hosts file and include IP as a dns server... I will try...
