New quota settings won't update

Hello, I've searched a lot for an answer to this question, but found nothing. I'm trying to set a new quota for an user. If I try to change it through the WHM interface, nothing is happening. I tried by clicking on "Quota modification", "Modify an account" and I also tried modifying the package of this user. The quota is already set to 5000 and it just won't change. I also tried running the script /scripts/fixquotas, but the script stops at "load sym" and do nothing except setting all users to infinite quota. Updating Quota Files...... quotacheck: Cannot stat() mounted device /dev/root: No such file or directory quotacheck: Scanning /dev/sda2 [/home] load sym Do you have any idea on how to fix this? Thank you.
