SpamAssassin Questions
Hello,
I'm relatively new cPanel and have a couple of SpamAssassin questions.
1.) Can I set enable SpamAssassin by default but allow clients to disable it if they wish?
2.) How can I change the default score as 5 seems quite agressive?
Thank you.

Hello, Whilst the above links have provided lots of great information, it still hasn't answered my questions. 1.) Can I set enable SpamAssassin by default from WHM but allow clients in cPanel to disable it if they wish? 2.) How can I change the default SpamAssassin score as I believe 5 is too low? 0 -
Hi akust0m, I don't believe you can set Spamassassin 'ON' by default unless you FORCE it on These are some settings you might want to look at : Home "Service Configuration "Exim Configuration Manager Apache SpamAssassin Tab Apache SpamAssassin": Forced Global ON [?] > Off Turn on Apache SpamAssassin" for all accounts (i.e. with no option to disable). Home "Server Configuration "Tweak Settings Mail Tab Enable Apache SpamAssassin" spam filter > On Enable Apache SpamAssassin" Spam Box delivery for messages marked as spam (user configurable) > On Home "Packages "Feature Manager " Edit Feature List (for each list you use) Apache SpamAssassin" > Checked Apache SpamAssassin" Spam Box > Checked As far as spam scores are concerned - Please see: Default score for Spam Assassin and you might also like to have a look at Where to put custom SA rules (local.cf doesn't work) Hope this helps 0 -
