Custom profile not showing
I've updated to EasyApache4 and now want to create a profile for a web server serving PHP7. Following the installing profiles within EasyApache4. Even though the docs or creating a profile don't mention this, I tried to follow it anyway, but there is no Start button and no New Profile button!
Any ideas?

Hi Jollyboy40! One of the things about those profiles, is that if they are not valid JSON, or fully JSON compliant, they will not load. There's a tool in the documentation that can verify this is a valid JSON file or not: EasyApache 4 - Create a profile - EasyApache 4 - cPanel Documentation 'To check for proper syntax, use the json_pp tool. This tool verifies whether the file uses a human-readable format.' 0 -
Thanks Jacob. I ran my profile through an online JSON validator and it was fine. I saw that tool mentioned in the docs but am unclear where I can access it. Where is this tool? 0 -

Hello, It's located at: /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/perl/522/bin/json_pp You can find usage examples at: json_pp - search.cpan.org Thank you.0 -
Fancy getting that added to the docs? Would be better made easier to use, too. 0 -

I've opened a case with our documentation team to offer more information on this tool. I'll update this thread with more information once our documentation team reviews and acts on this case. Thank you.0 -
