Blocking incoming mail from owned domains
Hey guys, I would like to know if, and possibly how, it is possible to block incoming mails from owned domains, which are only sending/receiving on the server itself, so that I can "easily" filter away those spam mails at least.
Most occurrences of this type of spam usually sends a mail with the "sender" as the receiver. I am hoping that cPanel is capable of differentiating between if the mail came from an external source. Thanks for any assistance provided in advance, I am not very experienced in the advanced settings department but if you can point me in the right direction I can probably manage.
Best regards,
Ren".

Hello, You could enable the following option in "WHM Home " Service Configuration " Exim Configuration Manager" under the "ACL Options" tab to help prevent these types of emails: "Reject SPF failures" This will reject mail at SMTP time if the sender fails SPF checks. Thank you. 0 -
Does this option only reject the domains with SPF setup (hard fail) or does it also reject soft failures? 0 -
Hello, Exim queries the SPF information to ensure it passes, rather than only checking if the SPF record itself exists. Thank you. 0 -
Thanks. 0
