Ok first of all I do pay for cpanel Iam just a website user, I have contacted the support there and I am getting no where with them, The bug is in the directory privacy tool, it is not working, when you try to pass word protect a directory, everything seems to work ok but when you go to test the directory it is not protected, I believe what the problem is, it is not saving the info...

  Hello, It's difficult to troubleshoot this type of issue when root access is not possible. Could you review the .htaccess file within the account's public_html directory and let us know the contents in CODE tags, ensuring you exclude any real domain names or IP addresses. Thank you.
