FTP and Filezilla
Hello,
I have some problem with the FTP, i can't show my site folder in filezilla...
I think that my whm isn't setup correctly.
this is the filezilla error:
MLSD
Error: Connection timeout after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not read the contents of the folder
How i can fix it?
Thanks

Is your domain setup properly? How are you trying to login to FTP, as an Addon FTP user or the cPanel account user?0 -
Addon FTP user or the cPanel account user
I have to set up a ftp access for my customer. I tried with Addon FTP user but don't works. Maybe the doman isn't propetly setup, but i don't know where0 -
Does the domain open in your browser properly? You can check your domain name for issues at a site like intodns.com Assuming your customer owns the cPanel account, he can use his cPanel username for the login username. If your customer is doing some work on some account's website and has an Addon FTP account, he uses username@example.com as his username to login to FTP. 0 -
The Cpanel account, and filemanager working properly, but when i try to enter with filezilla this is the error: Status: IP Address Resolution ftp.example.eu underway Status: Connecting to 92.48.74.174:21 ... Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message ... State: Initializing TLS in progress ... Status: Verifying certificate ... Status: TLS connection established. You might try increasing the timeout settings in your FTP client, to see if that's helpful. Searching google for this exact message: "Error: Connection timeout after 20 seconds of inactivity" Yields many results. 0 -
I tried to enter by the port 22 and working properly. Why usually we use the 21, and in this case working the 22 ? 0
