    Hello, cPanel offers no native support for curlftpfs mounts, however I don't see anything that would prevent it from working as a backup location. Could you try mounting it and let us know if you encounter any issues? Thank you.

    Hi Michael thank you for your reply. I'm glad to say that I tried mounting locally a remote FTP server and worked perfectly. Absolutely fast and transparent... and my remote server is seen by my cPanel box exactly like a local directory. This is the syntax:
    curlftpfs my-ftp-login:my-ftp-password@my-ftp-server /mnt/my-ftp-server-or-whatever-you-want
    Very useful for using as backup location. I would suggest cPanel to support and encourage the use of curlftpfs ;) Thank you Carlo
