Cpanel email filtering OR rules not working
CENTOS 5.11 x86_64 virtuozzo " WHM 56.0 (build 22) on private VPS
Using an "or" rule on "does not contain" on "from" of account level email filtering does not work in Cpanel/WHM.
For example, if I have
From "does not contain" dan@abc.com
then forward to
anthother.email.address@anotheraddress.com
that works,
BUT having 2 "or" rules does not work, such as:
From "does not contain" dan@abc.com
OR
From "does not contain" sally@xyz.com
then forward to anthother.email.address@anotheraddress.com
DOES NOT WORK and both rules are ignored.

Hello, I've been unable to reproduce this behavior on a test machine. Could you post the output of the entry in /var/log/exim_mainlog for one of the messages that skips the filter rule? EX: exigrep MSGID /var/log/exim_mainlog
Thank you.0 -
I'm talking about account level filtering within cpanel, not exigrep. Go to Cpanel and click email then examine the account level filtering rules. 0 -

Hello, The "exigrep" command is simply a command used to search the Exim logs to determine additional information. Seeing the log entry for the message can help determine why a filter rule isn't working as expected. Thank you.0
