SquirrelMail Stopped

After the nost recent cPanel update Squirrelmail has stopped on two servers. When accessing from the webmail link we get a 500 error with nothing in the logs to indicate why.

  Hi, Please try to restart dovecot service. /etc/init.d/dovecot restart If still getting error then check check your cPanel error logs file and let me know if you are getting any error in that error logs file.

  I am having the same issue with squirrelmail stopping after the update with the same error messages

  Hello, It's likely the issue is related to CPANEL-6544, that's addressed in cPanel version 56.0.24: Fixed case CPANEL-6544: Fix permissions on squirrelmail configuration post 11.56 upgrade. You can update cPanel to version 56.0.24 via "WHM >> Update To Latest Version" or by using the "/scripts/upcp" command. Thank you.
