Today's update broke cpanel connection
Hi everyone,
We upgraded 4 of our dedicated servers to the latest WHM/Cpanel, and has broke the connection to the server. We have restarted the servers and rebuilt the RPM's through SSH and then through WHM as the second hand solution. This did not work. Next we restarted the cpanel service with service cpanel start.
Last solution was to run the upgrade process again for cpanel, but ended up with the same error of the following below:
[LIST]
Starting cpanel:
Waiting for cpaneld to shutdown ... not running.
Waiting for webmaild to shutdown ... not running.
Waiting for cpdavd-ssl to shutdown ... not running.
Waiting for cpanellogd to shutdown ... not running.
Waiting for eximstats to shutdown ... not running.
mailmanctl: no process killed
Waiting for eximstats to shutdown ... not running.
Found cPGreyList running with PID: '6112'. Stopping...
[+] cPGreyList stopped successfully.
You may be running this update interactively from within WHM.
It is necessary we restart cpsrvd, but this will kill the session displaying update progress.
Please see the logs in /var/cpanel/updatelogs/ for further information if the update progress stops
P.S we have checked these logs and they are empty.
