Help setting up Subdomain on different server

    namecheap hosting says i have to add there nameservers but when i do that the link with squarespace breaks. squarespace uses dns with @ and cnames and namecheap hosting use nameservers. how do i use my domain with both?

    Namecheap is correct. You'll need to use their nameservers if squarespace won't allow you to add an A entry. However, you should be able to contact squarespace, if your dns is through them and have them point sub.domain.com as an A entry to the ip you want.
