cpAddons Wordpress out of date

Latest version of Wordpress is 4.5.3 and cpAddons is listing 4.5.2. Forced a refresh but it is still listing the old version. The new version fixes many security issues. When can we expect an update?

  Hello, Internal case CPANEL-7063 updates the version of WordPress distributed as a cPAddon to version 4.5.3. I've confirmed it's now available on a test system by browsing to "WHM " Home " cPanel " Install cPAddons Site Software" and selecting "Force Refresh of All cPAddons Site Software Sources". Thank you.

  Can someone explain how we get that latest version for our users.... I'm looking in my CPAddons and it's at version 4.5.3 in WHM...... I clicked Force Refresh of all CPAaddons Site Software Sources but it's still at 4.5.3 and the latest version is 4.6 Is this something that we can't control and comes out with Cpanel updates? Is there any way to make custom Wordpress installs for our users? Thanks, Joel

  This is correct. CPANEL-8054 is open to ensure WordPress 4.6 is offered as part of the cPAddons interface. You can manually upgrade WordPress for individual accounts, but note that it will disable the ability for cPanel to manage the installation going forward. Thank you.
