CentOS 6.8 and Python 2.7
Hi,
A customer running a dedicated server with CentOS 6.8 wants to be able to run Python 2.7. This would obviously mean using either some third party repository or custom install job. But would this affect cPanel/WHM? Could a different version of Python be used outside of the cPanel environment?
Thanks,
Martyn

Hello, The Python package is managed by your system package manager (YUM) outside of the cPanel environment. Using a custom version may work without issues, however it's generally a good idea to test that type of change on a test server before making the change on a production server. Thank you.0
