Using domain name with icloud email

Hi to all, I have a customer who has a new cPanel account created on my server and he would like to use his existing icloud email with his domain name (mydomain.com). My question is do I achieve this by simply creating a forwarding rule? In which case he would need an email account linked to his domain name (i.e. admin@mydomain.com) which will be forwarded to his icloud email address. What about using MX Records with Remote Mail Exchanger? How does this work and why would I use this method? What is the difference between both options above?

  Hello, Using a private domain name with the iCloud email service is not natively supported. However, there is a third-party URL where a workaround is discussed: A guide to using iCloud email with your own domain name Though, it looks like it the workaround doesn't offer full functionality. I suggest forwarding the email to the iCloud address. Thank you.
