Configure Domain's DNS to point to Minecraft Server IP
Hello,
I am setting up a Minecraft Server and a website for it, but using a different hosts for both. Currently I have purchased hosting packages from Smart Hosting (for website) and Bisect Hosting (for the Minecraft Server). The domain is I use is hosted by Smart Hosting, which I use for web hosting that runs cPanel.
My question is, can I configure the DNS in my cPanel to use the domain for my website as well as pointing it to my Minecraft server IP so that I can connect to my Minecraft server with the domain instead of the IP?
Just for reference the Minecraft server IP has a :25565 port.
Many thanks,
James.

Hello, You can add an "A" record for this domain name and use that subdomain to access your game server: Simple Zone Editor - Documentation - cPanel Documentation Thank you.0
