Disable Backing up MySQL Databases
On one of my cPanel servers, I have a custom backup script that handles the huge databases well (while the cPanel one doesn't), so I want to disable backing up of the MySQL databases. The only solution I've found so far is to put all the big databases in their own cPanel account and disable backing up that account, but the dbs are huge and this seems like a big inconvenience, since we would have to change the name of the database in a bunch of different spots (old version of vbulletin and a bunch of custom stuff that ties into the vb database). Thank you for any suggestions!

Yeah, there really is no option here to skip db backup. Might make a good idea for a feature request though. I can see how that'd be completely useful in some cases. 0 -
