DNS problems after transfer to VPS

Following a recent transfer of a reseller account with ASO and 10 accounts, I find 2 of them unavailable and some of the internal DNS items seem out-of-whack. Needing help to find the way back to sanity. (A solution is possibly weeks away with hosting support!) 1. All of the nameservers at registrar (also ASO) have been updated. 2. A few of the accounts had parked domains (similar domain names), which I have deleted and wish to add to different and new accounts. 3. The problems appear to begin in WHM and have 2 branches: a. I added an account (renewalias), which is displayed in Accounts and in Edit DNS Zone. It's domain used to be an alias of renewmynum (item b, below) on the old server and forwards to renewmynum in browser. Lookup returns the correct IP address. LeafDNS reports all good. b. Another pre-move account (renewmynum) which is displayed in Accounts, but not in Edit DNS Zone. A DNS zone cannot be added. Running '/var/cpanel/users/renewmynum' displays 23 - XDNS entry rows for the old server aliases. This domain is not found in the browser. Lookup returns nothing. Leaf DNS reports: Nameserver is not authoritative for this domain. 4. At this moment, none of the aliases have been added and no entries exist for them in DNS Zones. Rather than explain what I've done, let's start over. What actions should I take to rectify these?

    Additional info: Tried adding a DNS zone manually. Success with renewmynum !! So, it seems that the only issue is with renewmynum having sooo many XDNS entries - Is this causing the redirect from renewalias to renewmynum ?? I thought that by adding an alias, followed by removing it, the issue might be fixed. Cpanel out whitted me on this: There was an error when the system attempted to create the alias. Park::park(renewxxx.com) failed: (XID pvddcf) The domain "renewxxx.com" already exists in the Apache configuration.

    Thank you Michael. Just so you know, I was not referring to cPanel support above in this thread. Instead, since changing to VPS, support at ASO has slowed to glacial speeds. I am under the impression that your request to open a support ticket was to help cPanel staff to better understand this issue. I am not in need of assistance. A support ticket was opened.     Hello, Here's a paraphrased summary from the support ticket resolution: To update, the domain existed in the /var/cpanel/userdata file, which was preventing it from being removed from the /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf file. Additionally, the domain existed in the /etc/named.conf file. After manually removing the domain from the respective configurations, rebuilding the userdata cache, and rebuilding Apache, the domain name is now set.
