mod_ruid2 and pdftk

I have pdftk installed (2.02) and it's been working fine. Fine until I switched to mod_ruid2 and Jail due to continuous WordPress and Joomla exploits of late. However, when I switched one customer that requires pdftk is now reporting it broken. I can run their command in my shell just fine, but redirecting standard error to output and running the same command via a web page from their website returns this: Testing running command pdftk, output: GC Warning: Couldn't read /proc/stat GC Warning: GC_get_nprocs() returned -1 Couldn't read /proc/self/stat
Any ideas how to work around this?
