Invalid Hostname

Hello, first-timer here. I've installed cpanel for testing only. The installation process was pretty much straight-forward until i came across this license problem. The license just won't update. The license is definitely valid. Server's hostname is also a valid FQDN. And in my domain registrar, I also have an A Record set up pointing to my server's ip address. And it's resolving the correct ip when I do a dig/host command. Help.
Updating cPanel license...Done. Update Failed! Error message: The cPanel license server said that your hostname is invalid. For more information visit: http://www.cpanel.net/lic.html The exact message was: The license is expired.

  Hello, Could you verify the IP address your server is making connections from is the licensed IP address? There's a document that provides steps on how to check this at:
