Remove old backups when automatic backup

Hi, I am using WHM for automatic backups for each cPanel account into Amazon S3. For now I am doing it once per week, but I'd like to do it twice per week and keep the backups for a month. This means that after the 8th backup, the 9th one will replace the 1st one. The 10th will replace the 2nd one and so on. Therefore I'll always have just 8 backups stored. How could I set this up? Is it possible from WHM ?

  If I understand correctly, Retention works only on the current server. Therefore, for S3 I have to write a custom script ?

  Hello, This is correct, however it might not require a custom script. You can review the comments section on that feature request to view user-submitted workarounds involving the Amazon S3 management console. Thank you.
