SSHFP Records Only Over API

Hello :), is there a reason why SSHFP records could be set using the WHM API according to the documentation but not over the WHM webinterface? (I'm using 56.0 atm)

  Hello, I've opened an internal inquiry (CPANEL-7493) with our development team to determine if SSHFP records are supported for use with WHM API 1. I'll update this thread with more information as it becomes available. Thank you.

  Hello, It's been confirmed that we don't currently support adding these records through our API, or through cPanel/WHM. I've opened a case with our documentation team to remove this record type from all of the documents where it's referenced. I encourage you to open a feature request if you want to see support for this record type added to the product: Submit A Feature Request It's more likely to get traction once support for DNSSEC is added to the product: Support for DNSSEC Thank you.
