Custom Mail Only Feature List

Hi, I wondering if anyone else has come across this issue. Using my reseller account I have setup a customer account using the default Mail Only feature list and have subsequently learned that the Track Delivery feature is not available under that configuration. Note: I've tried setting up a new feature list but listed item names do not necessarily match the features displayed. Plus there appears to be no Track Delivery option to tick. I would be grateful if someone could advise me: How can I duplicate the Mail Only feature list and add the Track Delivery feature?

    Is Email Trace enabled in your Features list? When I uncheck that one and save, Track Delivery goes away in my cPanel.

    Hi Infopro, Thanks for your reply. I presume Email Trace is not enabled. The issue is that I don't know what features are ticked for the default Mail Only feature list. If I can find that out I can create a new feature list based on the default Mail Only and add/remove features accordingly. Currently I have the following features displaying in the existing Mail Only account: Domains Site Publisher Restore Manager Restore Files Restore Database Restore Cron jobs Restore SSL Cert Restore Mail Restore Mail Forwarders Restore DNS Zone Restore Domain Aliases Backup exclude Email Email Accounts Forwarders MX Entry Autoresponders Default Address Global Email Filters Email Filters Authentication Address Importer Apache SpamAssassin" Archive Remote MX Wizard Security AutoInstall SSL Software CloudFlare Softaculous Apps Installer Select PHP Version Preferences Password & Security Change Language Change Style Contact Information User Manager Softaculous Apps Installer Scripts: All of them! What I want to avoid is creating a new feature list that could cause issues with the existing account. Also I am not sure why the following are necessary for a Mail Only account: Domains Site Publisher Software CloudFlare Softaculous Apps Installer Select PHP Version Softaculous Apps Installer Scripts: All of them! I am also wondering if some of the features cannot be be removed as they may be account minimum configuration requirements. Thanks again.

    Thanks for the list. I can see the default Mail Only feature list that has been set my host's server must be a custom configuration. I will contact them to see if they can let me know the checked settings for their default Mail Only feature list. In the meantime I'll try creating a dummy account with a custom minimal feature list including just the Password Change feature to see what is displayed. Hopefully that won't break anything. I'll update this thread with any developments. Thanks again for your assistance. ;)

    As I don't have the ability to create a support ticket, having only a reseller account, I wonder, if someone, who does has the ability to raise a support ticket, might be prepared to bring this thread to CPanel Support's attention in an effort to resolve any errors and outstanding queries. Personally I think it would be helpful if the CPanel interface icons matched the names listed in the Feature Manager or vice versa as it would minimise any confusion. In addition, it would also be helpful if it were possible to select and duplicate the default feature lists under the Feature Manager so that a custom/renamed Mail Only feature list could be created, for example. Alternatively would it be possible to provide the ability view what features have been enabled/disabled for the default feature lists? Thank you for your attention.

    Hello, The functionality you are seeking is available via "WHM >> Feature Manager" while logged in as "root". Utilize the list named "Disabled", and then the feature appears as "Disabled" when attempting to enable it as a reseller via Web Host Manager. As far as changes to the feature list functionality and feature names, please ensure you open a feature request for these improvements via: Submit A Feature Request Thank you.

    I tried to open a feature request. I received a message stating that my account had been updated to allow Feature Request access. The link takes me to a Feature Request information page without any means to do so. Clicking on the Feature Request tab simply refreshes the Feature Request information page. :( Any thoughts?

    This suggests your provider did not properly disable the feature. Check to ensure they have utilized the feature list named "Disabled". This will allow the feature to appear as "Disabled" when attempting to enable it as a reseller via Web Host Manager.
