Remote Mail Server Office 365

Our client uses a provider for Office 365. They have an A record that points back to our hosting server for the website. The website is working well and the client's email is working properly. This is a wordpress 4.5.3 site on Php 5.6. The problem we are having is when a form tries to send emails. The form goes to the client's email. However, any other email designated in the form gets returned with a 550 error. 1). What should I suggest to the remote mail provider that they configure to allow our form to process properly. 2). Is there any way in WHM that I can set up a back-up email server for addresses not using the remote mail service? Thank you.

  Hello, Browse to "WHM >> DNS Functions >> Edit MX Record" and check to ensure "Remote Mail Exchanger" is configured under "Email Routing" for this domain name. This will ensure the cPanel server understands that email for this domain name is hosted on a remote mail server. Thank you.
