Hello, The following thread is a good place to start: [Tutorial] Nameserver configuration on cPanel servers In addition, these documents explain how to setup a DNS cluster: Guide to DNS Cluster Configurations - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation As far as the transfer, creating the account on the new server will automatically ensure it's zone is synced through the cluster because you are using "Write Only". However, is there any reason you are not using the "Transfer Tool" option in Web Host Manager to copy the accounts? Thank you.

Hi Michael, Thanks for your input. I'm going through this in a support ticket at the moment. I'll update this thread when we have worked out a solution.

Ok plan has been made thanks to the help from the cPanel ticket guys. ns3 on s3, not clustered move accounts, databases and files (not using the transfer tool as using this as an opportunity to clean out a load of crap). change IP of ns1 to s3 configure clustering with s3 as write-only to ns2 and force and update. Only thing we need to do before hand is check for any dns records that reference s1's ip rather than ns1. Tidy those up if there are any and we're good to go.
