Cannot view folders in public_html

    The new FTP account can only see whats his. Assuming you're using the new User Manager in cPanel (icon for this on left side of cPanel), you should be able to set the location/path to the users FTP account and set it to your wordpress.

    I got it working! I had to go into Users and edit the home directory since it was defaulting to an empty directory.

    Old is gold. Even years later this helped me out with a client. They have the hosting account and I'm a developer, so this trouble was quite a headache. Got it figured out. Thank you so much.
