    Looks like it is already running: tailwatchd is already running (tailwatchd) with PID 31477 by root The problem is in the monitoring service.

    Hello, Do you notice any specific error messages in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/tailwatchd_log when the service is detected as down? Please also let us know the version of cPanel installed on the system. Thank you.

    Do you notice any references to "Can't locate Cpanel/CPAN/MIME/Base64/Perl.pm" in the service failure email notifications, or in /var/log/chkservd.log?     I saw that there are 15 tailwatchd processes. I've killed all of them. Disabled TailWatch and then enabled it. Looks like it fixed this issue.
