How to remove php54 and php55
recently updated a server to EA4 to try it out. I noticed that by default it installed PHP54, 55 and 56. My server was configured before to use only 5.6. I can't seem to figure out how to remove the older versions. I rebuilt the profile and deselected 54 and 55. All it shows now is 56 and 57 but when I use the mutli-php manager in WHM or cPanel it still gives the options for 54 and 55.

Hi, Can you throw in a ticket so we can check this out? I have a feeling there's some php54 and php55 packages left over. If you want, try running the following and see if this helps: yum remove ea-php54* ea-php55*
This should remove *all* PHP54 and PHP55 packages. Let me know how it goes!0 -

thanks, removing the rpms seems to have done the trick. I'm not sure if this was a one off thing or a bug. It appears to me that EA4 did not remove php54 and php55 rpms when deselecting them from the build.0 -
Hi, Nope, this is a bug, we've filed it under case CPANEL-6877. Thanks for the report! 0
