Automatically create an alias of the temporary URL of a new account.
Hello!
How do I automatically create an alias of the temporary URL when a new account is created?
For example: user.server.hostdomain.xyz to hostdomain.xyz/~user
You can help me?

Hello, The URL you are referring to stems from the Apache Mod_Userdir tweak documented at: Apache mod_userdir Tweak - Documentation - cPanel Documentation The URL is not intended for permanent use, and no support exists to automatically configure a redirect/alias to that URL. You could manually add a custom Mod_Rewrite rule. However as an alternative, you should consider editing the hosts file on the workstation attempting to access the domain name until the DNS change propagates: hosts (file) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Thank you. 0 -
We purchase white label domains (i.e. server.com) for every server outside of our white label hostname and then use a WHM hook and cPanel API to create user.server.com on account creation so that every user has a temporary URL that doesnt use /~user URL as it has had some security issues in the past. 0
