How to enable Envelope-to in header exim in cpanel 58
Hello,
I am having the problem with new version exim-4.87-6.cp1156.x86_64---cpanel 58. Exim has remove all header in massage (especially Envelope-to ) so mail server offline can not recognize who is in list of group so that staff can not receive email as normally .
Staff receive email:
Client --> catchall email (server1)--> local email (local mail server) (downloading by fetchmail)--> delivery for Staff
Example:
--OLD version - header - exim-4.87-5.cp1156------cpanel 56
Received: from localmailserver (localhost [127.0.0.1])
by webmail.example.com (Postfix) with ESMTP id D8141862F3;
Mon, 1 Aug 2016 09:04:14 +0700 (ICT)
Envelope-to: .......
Delivery-date: Sun, 31 Jul 2016 19:00:25 -0700
The new version, i dont see that. so how can i enable that ?
please help? thanks

Hello, This is a bug related to the switch to Dovecot as the local mail delivery agent, as mentioned in the -protected mailboxes, but overall mailserver performance should improve. Note: The system enables Dovecot by default. If you disable Dovecot, your server will disable IMAP and POP3 message delivery services, but Dovecot's authentication system and local mail delivery (LMTP) will continue to run.
Internal case CPANEL-7850 will address this issue by ensuring "Envelope-From" and "Envelope-To" are added to the message header. I'll update this thread again once the resolution associated with this case is published. Thank you.0 -
Hello What is the version of the case CPANEL-7850? I am using Cpanel 11.58.0.12 so what is the case of CPANEL (that you are memtioned)? For now, i can see Return-Path and Delivered-To in the header (see below), but i dont see Envelope-to so i am having the problem with email right now. the next release will add the Envelope-to in the header (that like the old version had)? and when the next release will be official ? [Removed - Please Remove Real Domain Names and IP Addresses] thanks, 0 -
Hello, The resolution associated with internal case CPANEL-7850 is not yet released. It's scheduled for inclusion with a new build of cPanel version 58, however I don't have a specific time frame to offer at this time. I'll update this thread as soon as it's released. Thank you. 0 -
Hello, To update, the resolution associated with CPANEL-7850 is included with cPanel version 58.0.17: Fixed case CPANEL-7850: Pass Return-Path and Delivered-To to dovecot LMTP. This version is currently published to the "Edge" and "Current" build tiers. Hi cPanelMichael, I have just tried to test for upgrading the upgrade CPANEL to the current version and i see "Envelope-From" and "Envelope-To" are added to the message header. But i am worrying about upgrading to the current version, is it ok? and should we do that? and when we have the release of CPANEL-7850 ? Thanks 0 -
Can you say when CPANEL-7850 will make it into RELEASE? I prefer not to upgrade to CURRENT.

Tentatively, it's expected in the "Release" tier within the next couple of days. Updating to the "Current" build tier shouldn't result in any new issues, however remember to switch back to the "Release" tier if that's your preference. You can review the differences between each build tier on our0 -
Thanks for the info. I can verify that 58.0.19 appears as both RELEASE and CURRENT in my cPanel as of 2016-08-10T23:08:08+0000, and that after upgrading to 58.0.19, Envelope-To: does appear in the message headers.
I'm happy to see the "Envelope-To" entry is now working again. Thank you for confirming the referenced case has addressed the issue.0
