chkservd notification: lmtp failed

Hi, We are getting the below notification ----- [server.******.com.br] FAILED ?: lmtp (2**.**.***.**) [server.*****.com.br] RECOVERED ?: lmtp (2**.**.***.**) ---- checked in the different logs in the server and couldn't find any error on lmtp. May I know the cause of this. Note: there is no load/memory/space issue in the server. Regards, Steve

  Hello :), What error are you getting on maillog file ? Might be there is an memory issues. Please check mail logs and try to update here.

  Hi, There is no errors in the server logs, we have checked the following logs, ----- /var/log/maillog /var/log/messagess In addition, there is no memory issue in the server. Regards, Steve

  Were those 2 emails sent right around the time you did a cPanel update?

  I'm unclear on your reply. Are you continuing to get the emails since that update, or are these the only two you received? Is the time stamp on them around the time of the update? I ask as sometimes a service is restarted in an update.
