Having to Re-Enter Contact/Server Info On Every Cpanel Support Ticket
Am I missing something or am I correct that in the Cpanel Customer Portal, when you submit a Tech Support Ticket, every single time you have to re-enter your contact info (name, email) and all your server info even if you have only one server and one contact. Seems like you should be able to save a default profile or store server profiles with basic server info (name, IP address, etc.) so you don't have to re-enter the same information over and over and over.

Bump... I guess I'm not missing something and strangely the ticket forms don't make the contact field values default to your registration info, nor can you just select your server from a list of servers you've previously entered server info for. I did get a response from CPanel support but all it said was that if you go into WHM and do the process to grant support access to your server, you don't have to do that again. But that's only one piece of the puzzle here. I'm talking about the process when you open a ticket and have to go through three screens of forums and enter your contact name, phone, email, server IP, server name, etc. Seems you have to keep entering that over and over and over when you open tickets for the same contact and the same server. Driving me nuts! 0 -
From within your WHM, on any page is a small "life preserver" icon top right corner. Click thru that and find the fields should already filled in for you. HTH! 0 -

Great tip. Never really noticed that. It only transfers server info. You still have to keep entering your name, email, phone every time. And there's no 'Profile' section like most sites as I don't see why I can't store a default profile so I don't have to keep entering my contact info on every ticket.0 -

Hello @jazee, Thank you for the valuable feedback on our support ticket submission process. Some improvements to the entire ticket submission process are planned in the future that should address this concern. Thank you.0 -

You have to be logged in to your tickets.cpanel.net account for the Support Access Number Values to pass automatically. Else it will ask you to login and will forget the values which were passed when you click the icon....0
