Stop spoofed emails
Hi,
I already implemented "EXPERIMENTAL: Rewrite From: header to match actual sender" which seems to work fine. But I still have the following issues:
- When max mail per hour is reached. It sends back a mail to the spoofed sender instead of the rewritten new sender. How can I change this?
- I would like to reject such mails completely. Is this possible?
Searched all the forums and didn't see an answer on those questions.
Thanks for giving a feedback.

Hello, Could you let us know the version of cPanel installed on this system? Prior to cPanel 58, you can manually enable "Reject SPF failures" in "WHM >> Service Configuration >> Exim Configuration Manager >> Basic Editor" to help prevent the acceptance of spoofed emails. Thank you. 0 -
I have 58. But still. Rejecting also external mail would be an issue. I just want to hinder local users not sending mails from their own account. Regards, Gregor 0 -
