Access from client IP blocked - nothing helps

Hi, need help pls... client had Win 10 issues and to reinstall his PC (to Win 8) Then he couldn't make the email IMAP/SMTP/POP work We couldn't make him login anymore...later I found his IP in the Failed Attempt list... in Hulk...but I whitelisted his IP and still he could not even access any website on this server... then his IP was not in the Failed Attempts list anymore...but still he had no chance of reaching the server...ping failed only after we used a proxy to hide his real IP, he could login and get his emails without any problem... What can this be...?????? Thx Dan

  Hello, Check to verify the IP address is not also blocked in your system's firewall rules. You may want to consider installing a firewall management application such as CSF if you want to review and manage your firewall rules via Web Host Manager. Thank you.

  Hi Michael, thank you so much!! Yes, found his IP in plugin "csf" and released it... why would it get caught there? Thank you!! Dan

  Hello, I'm happy to see you were able to address the issue. It's possible the IP address was automatically blocked by cPHulk in your firewall if "Block IP addresses at the firewall level if they trigger brute force protection" was enabled. Thank you.
