WHM Backup Isn't Running

I setup backup configuration to enabled (legacy is disabled). Backup Type Compressed. Set it up Daily and checked cron status and it is in there. Made use I selected my cpanel user account in "Select Users" and enabled backup and yet for the past 3 nights since I have done this, not 1 backup has been made. I go into Backup Restoration but no backups show there.

  Hello, Could you review the most recent backup log in the /local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/ directory and let us know of any error messages you see? Thank you.

  No errors. I have 1 log file from the backup I manually ran today. My guess is the cron job isn't working?

  Try restarting the "crond" service to verify it's running well:
  service crond restart
