changing seconday dns server to new ip

We currently have 2 DNS Servers on the same subnet but would like to change the second one to a different IP. Does anyone know a good procedure to follow or how does one achieve it?

  there is no procedure you change it at your registrar and update the A records for it Done

  Hello, You can simply change the IP address on the server, and then update the "A" record to the new IP address after updating the IP address at the domain registrar. This document may also help:
