Multiple WebDisk
I have a client who has more than one hosting account with me. He wants to set up a WebDisk for each of those accounts. However after he created the first web disk he is no longer prompter for the UID/PW for any additional Web Disks he creates, they all default to the first one he entered. How do I set up a second WebDisk and have it prompt him for the correct UID/PW. All of his account are on a single server and thus they are all at the same shared SSL URL

Hello, Browser-based web disk access does not offer logout functionality. You would need to configure the browser to remove the cached data for the access attempt after each session. Instructions for accessing web disk via third-party applications are available at: Connect to Web Disk with Third-Party Software - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation Thank you. 0 -
How would one go about configuring the browser to do that? I believe the client is using FF. 0 -
Also how is this browser based? It is a mapped network drive. He is not using his browser for any of this. The mapped drive is listed in "Computer" as a Network Drive. 0 -
Thank you for the clarification on the issue. Would you mind opening a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you. 0 -
Thanks Michael. I went to add a new tickets but man that is one complicated process. I just want to know how to map a network drive in windows 7 and (I know it is outdated but one of my clients uses it) WIndows XP for multiple UID/PWs. 0 -

Hello, This is a limitation of the Operating System. You would have to create separate network drives for each individual username to skip the login process. Instructions for this are available at: How to Map a Network Drive In particular, note the usage of the "Connect using different credentials" option. Thank you.0 -
Thank Michael. the rub is that after the first mapping we are not prompted for the User/PW but rather it assumes the UI/PW of the first mapping. The rub is that all of the accounts are on a single box thus the URL for the mapping is the same for all the WebDisks... We need a way to have the local machine not assume it is the same UID/PW. 0 -
Here are some command line instructions for mapping a network drive with Windows 7 that you may want to try: IT: How to Map a Drive: Windows 7 Thank you. 0 -
