index.html not showing
have had some trouble of late with my website (- Removed -). It seems to have returned and is now back online. However, the site is not showing the index.html (located in my public_html folder) but the default Wordpress page. Any idea why?

Which one are you expecting to see? If you have wordpress installed, there should be no need for an index.html in the public_html/ directory. If you remove wordpress you should place an index.html in public_html/, so something opens at yourdomain.com Your forum profile lists you as Website Owner, so you wouldn't have access to these settings in WebHost Manager: DirectoryIndex Priority - Documentation - cPanel Documentation 0 -
I was expecting to see my own website. I do not have wordpress installed. I do have access to WHM, can I uninstall wordpress from there? 0 -
Maybe this helps... see pic 0 -
You should check your DNS settings at your Domain Name Registrar to make sure the domain is pointing to the right server. Those other html files don't open on your domain name, I just checked: yourdomain.com/films.html and yourdomain.com/contact.html I see no traces of a wordpress installation. But I did see a wordpress installed on yourdomain.com If you need more assistance with this, you should contact your Hosting Provider. 0
