How to upload files from one cPanel to another

I thought it better to continue this thread rather than create a new one. I want to copy files from one server to another (cpanel to cpanel) but I do NOT want to copy the whole account - I just want to copy certain files so that the date and time on the old files is maintained when they come across to the new server. How does one do that?

  Hello :), If you have command line access of your both account then you can migrate it with the scp OR rsync command, Otherwise you will have to do it with the FTP ( Download and upload )

  Thanks 24x7server, scp will do the job perfectly. Now I know where the name for WinSCP came from :)
