Apache domlogs pruning
since this seems related, I thought I would ask here, it seems my /domlogs/ are being rotated at the end of each month and I dont want that (ive setup a separate /etc/logrotate.d script to keep and compress several versions)
but i can not even with all the posts about where to set settings, find the one that is causing these to roll over?
i have these set
- Archive logs in the user's home directory at the end of each stats run unless configured by the user. ON
- Remove the previous month's archived logs from the user's home directory at the end of each month unless configured by the user. ON (but my understanding is this is related to the copy that is in the users logs directory)
- Delete each domain"s access logs after statistics are gathered OFF
- Log rotation size threshold 100MB
any ideas?

Hello, I've moved this post into it's own thread. Could you verify if the system uses EasyApache 3, or EasyApache 4? Also, could you provide an example of how the logs are archived? The Apache logs (not the domlogs) rotation is configured via: "WHM Home " Service Configuration " Apache Configuration " Log Rotation" Thank you. 0 -
hi! EA3 well i dont know... i just see the log file starts at the start of the month in terms of the entries that are in the domlogs (or right at then end of the month really since it happens just before the date turn over) i am not referring to the apache logs, that is already setup fine in the area you mentioned. thanks! 0 -
