Exim with Sophos / SAVDI

Hi, I am trying to connect exim with sophos / SAVDI interface, using SSSP. Unfortunately exim doesnt automagically recognize the scanner, so i have a socket connection. However, I am unable to have the scanner work av_scanner = sock:/var/run/savdid/sssp.sock:SSSP/1.0 SCANDIR %s:VIRUS:VIRUS (.+) Has anyone managed to connect and work with the SSSP socket?

  Hello, Could you let us know what steps you have taken thus far to implement this functionality with Exim? For instance, have you made specific changes to the Exim configuration file? Thank you.

  Hi, I didnt change anything else, from what I understand it should have worked. Anyways, I guess we can close the thread as I wrote my own wrapper script to work around all of this. Thanks

  I am considering posting it, but first im trying to optimize it a bit.. Currently I have it working with clamav + sophos dual scanning. Clam works better if you have sanesecurity database updated. Cpanel should consider supporting and hosting them and other such projects.
