Hi all, This is my first post in the forum, so please be patient with me. I'm getting the following error, when logging into cpanel:

I've really no idea how to start troubleshooting this, so if anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be forever grateful. Thanks in advance. Michael

    Hello, Your access level is listed as "Website Owner". I recommend contacting your web hosting provider for additional assistance with this issue, as I don't believe you can resolve the problem without root access to the system. Thank you.

    Hi, sorry, I think I put my access level in incorrectly. I do have root access, so any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks, Michael

    Hello :), Login your server and check cPanel error logs file for the more information of this issues. Also, Try to update cPanel on your server with the following command let me us know here if you are getting any error while updating it.

    This is on a VPS server, so I don't have a cpanel/WHM support package. Does this matter? Do I need to contact my host instead? Thanks

    You should still be able to open a support ticket. The following command should output a support ID number for use when opening the ticket:
    /usr/local/cpanel/cpanel -S
