PTR, SPF DKIM and Spam
Hi guys,
I have my own VPS server with a single ip and WHM/Cpanel on it.
Since few days, every mail that I send to gmail accounts come back with the Mail delivery failed message.
I discovered that I had to add a PTR record.
The situation in my VPS is that I have only 1 ip and multiple domain accounts.
So the first step was to configure the reverse dns to ns.bitflare.it (that points to the VPS ip).
After doing so, I added in the "edit dns zone" area, a PTR record that points from the ip (176.56.238.108) to the actual domain (in this case domain.com) and a PTR record from 108.238.56.176.in-addr.arpa to ns.bitflare.it.
I also read that in order not to flag the mail as spam, I should enable DKIM and SPF in Cpanel of the domain. And I did so.
Now I sent an email to check-auth@verifier.port25.com and this is the response:
[Removed - Please Use Example Domain Names]
Can you help me on what am I doing wrong?

Hello, Could you verify your VPS hosting provider has granted you the ability to create your own PTR records. The ability to configure PTR records is often restricted, and may require you to contact your VPS hosting provider to have them setup the record on your behalf. Thank you. 0
