AutoSSL error
I have successfully used AutoSSL on 3 other servers I run, but with this particular one it is not working but there is no error:
Log for the AutoSSL run for "****": Friday, September 30, 2016 5:32:54 PM GMT+0100 (cPanel (powered by Comodo))
4:32:54 PM This system has AutoSSL set to use "cPanel (powered by Comodo)".
4:32:54 PM Checking websites for "****" "
4:32:54 PM The website "****", owned by "****", has no SSL certificate. AutoSSL will attempt to obtain a new certificate and install it.
4:32:54 PM The system will attempt to renew SSL certificates for the following websites:
4:32:54 PM ****** (*******)
4:32:54 PM The system has completed the AutoSSL check for "****".
4:32:54 PM The system has finished checking 1 user.
I noticed there is still a "+" on the log file indicating that it is still running, but I checked in the logs - /var/cpanel/logs/autossl/ for the process ID and the process ID was not running so task must be completed, so not sure why it says that.
Also in your documentation it says: (Manage AutoSSL - Documentation - cPanel Documentation):
The AutoSSL feature requires outbound access to the store.cpanel.net server over port 443.
So I tried "ping store.cpanel.net" which pings back also, so it's not firewall issue, although I have disabled it also and is still not working.
I know the log shows that it says it is installing a certificate, but when I visit

Hello, It can sometimes take up a few hours before Comodo issues the certificate. The following utility runs every five minutes as part of a cron job to see if a certificate has been processed: /usr/local/cpanel/bin/autossl_check_cpstore_queue
Your system will automatically stop attempting to retrieve a certificate after 86400 seconds (1 day), so if it hasn't been issued within this time, it's removed from the queue and you will no longer see the "processing" message in the AutoSSL logs. Could you verify if the certificate request was processed since you opened this thread? Thank you.0 -

Ok, thanks for letting me know how it works. It still has the "+" under all the logs, so my one from the 30th september all the way up to today the 5th as it runs everyday. I ran that command you sent, here is the output:root@server1 [~]# /usr/local/cpanel/bin/autossl_check_cpstore_queue warn [autossl_check_cpstore_queue] Cpanel::Exception::IO::FileOpenError/(XID vab 6qd) The system failed to open the file "/var/cpanel/logs/autossl/2016-09-27T01: 12:01Z/json" at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Exception.pm line 73. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.0 -
Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look at that error message? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you. 0 -
