Questions before upgrading to Cloulinux
We are thinking to upgrade from CentOS 6.8 to Cloudlinux.
1)Is Cloudlinux fully compatible with EA4? At least is it the same as CentOS?
2)What version of Openssl is offered currently at the Cloudlinux repos? IS ALPN and HTTP2 supported?
thank you

Hi! 1. CloudLinux is compatible with EA4 same way as CentOS. And a lot of CL servers has been swiched to EA4 already. 2. Latest openssl version provided with CloudLinux 6 is openssl-1.0.1e-48.el6_8.3.x86_64 . Not sure about http2/alpn, can you clarify how to check it?0 -
Unfortunately this version of openssl doesn't support ALPN, please read this nginx.com/blog/supporting-http2-google-chrome-users/ So I think I'm going to stay with Centos 6 for the moment. I really can't find any supported way to upgrade to HTTP2 ALPN. Thankfully in December Openssl 1.0.1 will not be supported anymore, Let's see what happens then 0 -
Hello, You may also want to submit that feedback directly to CloudLinux via: Forum Thank you. 0 -

CloudLinux provides same package versions as RHEL, when upstream provider will provide updated version of OpenSSL then it will be also available with CloudLinux0
